Remote Shoots

Shoot with me—wherever you are

Work with me from the comfort of your own home!

What does it mean to shoot remotely, anyway?

Remote tethered shoots are a way for models and photographers to connect and generate images without being in the same physical location.

This way of shooting emerged when the pandemic hit the world and we were all confined to our homes.

I began offering remote shoots in August 2020 and have had dozens of shoots since!

Now, how does it work?

It’s quite simple, actually!

Once we book our shoot, we will discuss concepts and decide what I will need for preparation.

The evening before our shoot, I will send you Zoom info and other details that we have discussed.

On the day of our shoot, we log onto our Zoom meeting at our scheduled time.

Through Zoom, I will connect you to my tethering software (Canon EOS Utility 3) and give you access to my camera’s manual controls and functions so that you can be in charge of setting the camera’s features to your liking and then, of course, clicking the shutter!

You just tell me what kind of composition you like and I or an assistant will move the camera for you.

And that is it, really!
